Products from our Ugandan artisan groups include handmade jewelry and up-cycled cow horn goods. Jewelry is made with locally-sourced clay and indigenous seeds, and can be customized with colors or a logo. The horn of Ankole cattle is normally discarded, however, our artisans up-cycle it into beautiful products including vases, bowls, tumblers, and more.
Many women in Uganda carry the economic burden for the home, but there are few jobs available for them. To combat this situation, we train and employ artisans to create handcrafted jewelry, notebooks, and upcycled cowhorn products. Sales revenue is channeled back to artisans in the form of stable income as well as medical benefits and school fees for children.
